2010 Rate Changes and Insurance Coverage
MindBody Wellness would like to inform our valued clients of rate changes, and new developments with regard to insurance coverage for therapeutic massage.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS
In addition to cash and cheque payments, MindBody Wellness accepts credit and debit cards with the exclusion of American Express.
INSURANCE COVERAGE (Updated as of April 1, 2009)
Currently BF&M Insurance Company, and Argus Insurance is offering coverage for Therapeutic Medical Services. For more detailed information on this coverage, please contact these providers directly. If you do not have BF&M or Argus Insurance, check with your current provider to see if Therapeutic Medical Services are covered.
Typical Insurance Procedures and Benefits are as follows. (Contact your provider directly for benefit schedule)
- Clients are expected to pay for the treatment in full at the time of the visit, and personally submit all claims to BF&M for reimbursement.
- Insurance Company will pay $55 per visit, to a maximum of $1000 per calendar year for any combination of therapeutic services.
- A referral from a Medical Doctor or Chiropractor is required for reimbursement to occur.
NOTE: BF&M Life will no longer be reimbursing on a per injury basis. Services spanning greater than three months without resolution of symptoms require review by an orthapedic Specialist for reimbursement to continue. In regard to patients currently receiving treatment, if therapy has been ongoing for a period of three months, a referral from a Medical Doctor, Orthopedic Specialist, or Chiropractor is required.
